Greeted at the door with a friendly smile at Thai Basil in Endicott, New York, we were led to our table. Once settled, we decided on the 'lunch buffet" which is offered every Tuesday from 11 a.m. - 2 p.m. for 9.99 per person. Little did they know it was the very reason we were there. My phone at the ready and notebook on the table, we headed to the buffet just a few feet from our seat of choice.
The fresh scent of vegetables and crisp ripeness was an added plus to their salad. The old floors, creaking underfoot as people walked gave the atmosphere a welcoming feeling, joined with light conversation and music playing. I especially liked their baked potatoes in garlic and lemon, as well as the turkey stuffed zucchini and cheese. My rice of choice, brown rice topped with shrimp, asparagus, and carrots.
