On Nov. 12, 2018, parents were notified by the UE School District due to students missing their bus and parents expecting the buses to turn around and pick up their child. Parents were informed by the school district, "We cannot be doing this. Time to reset alarm clocks and make sure everyone is dressed and sent out for the bus FIVE minutes ahead of schedule."

There's a serious problem if parents think buses can circle around to pick up their child whenever they feel like getting ready! It's the parents responsibility to get a child to school if they miss their bus. The bus is not a taxi service! The buses do not run on YOUR TIME! Schools have a set schedule in place and have to adhere to that schedule. If you're having difficulties with setting a routine in place for your family, it's time to rethink priorities, and seek help with any difficulties your family is struggling with. We all struggle, there is nothing to be ashamed of ask for help. There are many organizations out there that can help. It's your job as the parent to provide a stable environment and put into place a healthy routine for your child.
