Packages stolen from outside local Dentist Office
On August 23, 2019, the Endicott Police Department were notified about a theft, which took place outside a local Dentist Office. Dr. Kane's Dentistry located at 1204 Monroe Street in the Village of Endicott, was closed on Friday when a delivery arrived. With no one there and the office closed for the day, two packages were left by the front door.
Later that evening, the theft occurred and police were notified. At the time only one package was taken. But on August 24, 2019, a second theft occurred at the same location. It is not known if the two thefts are connected or if they were indeed too separate acts within the community. Photos of the two incidents were given to local authorities. If receiving packages, it's best to know the time and day of the delivery. Be sure to give instructions where to leave your delivery if no one will be home.
Choose a place out of sight or in view of a camera to deter theft.
If you know you will be away and cannot get your package for a number of days, ask a neighbor to collect it for you or ask for your packages to be delivered on a specific day.
