Schools Close due to Winter Storm
Nov. 15, 2018, the first winter storm of the season hits. Multiple accidents were reported. Road crews working throughout the night but it just wasn't enough. Area schools closed for the first time of the season due to heavy snow, some seeing 12 inches.

Traffic on the highway wasn't much better with multiple accidents.
Here's a scene from late last night. The snow was just not stopping.
Road conditions at 6 a.m. Nov 16, 2018. Road crews were continuing to clear roads as parents were notified of area schools being closed due to the storm.
But it wasn't all bad. We took this winter scene photo as the snow started coming down blanketing the fallen leaves on the ground and painting a pretty picture around the trunk of this tree.
Today, residents and businesses will be busy shoveling out. But for one community, they showed they were ready to tackle any storm that hit. Well done to the Village of Endicott.
