Year in Review

2017 shared many things with us as a people, country, and world. We witnessed the rebirth of hate and racism under Former President Obama and questionable candidates seeking to lead America thereafter.

It became clear, we no longer live in a time where news is based solely on facts and seeking out the truth. But a time where, opinions and accusations outweigh the law of the land, where one is "innocent until proven guilty."

2017 brought with it a higher understanding for personal health. Thousands posted, snapped, and tweeted their workouts, diets, and other lifestyle changes. Health issues such as mental illness, depression, and suicide came to the forefront, as well as rare and under researched illness, disabilities, and diseases.

The misuse of social media platforms grew out over control, where government and citing officials incited fear for their own political gain.

Nations, demanded we put a stop to attacks on law enforcement, victims cried out against sexual assault and domestic abuse, and we drew a line on illegal immigration and careless vetting. We witness history storms like never before, and out of all the darkness, came rise of unity, pride in nations, communities and more.

Let us say farewell to 2017, remembering those we have lost and the struggles the world has faced. Welcoming, a New Year with a firm goal to move forward, grow, and strive for a better tomorrow.

We us work toward bettering our communities, standing WITH law enforcement AGAINST crime and reform the criminal justice system.

2018 is a time of new beginnings, fresh starts, a blank page in history waiting to be written. Write it well. Write it with pride, dignity, with a fierce pen. All that is to come is but a whisper. We can make it great or we can make it horrific. The choice is yours....

Here is a short clip of 2017, a "Year in Review".
