Today is a Day to Move Forward
It's November 24, 2016, and Donald J. Trump has won the election to be America's next President of the United State. It was an uphill battle from day one for Mr. Trump and along the way Americans not only had to deal with the nasty mess all elections bring but rioting across the country, attacks on our police officers, racism at an all time high, and hate groups wrecking havoc. Today is Thanksgiving, a day when we give thanks for the blessing we have been given. One of the things I've been doing on this day is using social media to my adventage thanking law enforcement across the country for their hardwork and dedication. Wishing everyone a Happy Thanksgiving far and wide and I hope you join me. I've even gone as far as thanking the State Dept. Dept of Defense, our very own Secret Service. I've reached out to those who had hardships this year letting them know they are in our thoughts and prayers. Today is a day to move forward. A day to stop the division which has been unleashed acrossed the country. A day to think of what we have, what we are greatful for. A day to look at all that is before us and the possibilities to come.
I'm thankful for my family, friends, co-workers, neighbors. Thankful to have food on the table, a roof over head and a somewhat healthy outlook on life. Let us move forward making the world a better place by doing what we can. Each and everyone of us. Making our own small contribution to the country, our state, our county, city, town, our place. Happy Thanksgiving America, God Bless you all. Journalist / Reporter
